In order to get back to training as soon as possible it is important to rest and seek medical attention immediately to get a clear diagnosis of your pain. Continuing to train with an injury can cause further pain and limitation and in some cases even permanent damage.
Acute Injuries
An acute injury can be described as one that has happened suddenly and usually associated with trauma such as ankle sprain.
Chronic Injuries
A chronic injury is one which has come on gradually, usually through overuse from doing regular repeated activity or a recent increase in activity.
