PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO USE PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR YOUR TREATMENT:In recent years, many of the Insurance companies that we worked with have stopped covering the full costs of your Osteopathy treatment with us – leaving a shortfall of around 50% of the fees. As we are a business we cannot unfortunately cover this shortfall and are sadly unable to accept many clients who wish to pay by insurance. At present, we have had to stop working with BUPA, AXA PPP, Vitality Health, but this list is not exhaustive so please check with the therapist to make sure before you arrange treatment otherwise you may be required to pay for the treatment yourself.
It would be helpful if you could provide medical or surgical history, any relevant scan/MRI reports, and list of medication.
The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the Osteopath will discuss their treatment plan for the rehabilitation process.
Depending on which part of the body is being treated you may be asked to undress. You will be offered towels to make you feel more comfortable and you may prefer to bring some shorts with you.
